Warm Lemon Water

One of the most magical routines you can treat your body to every morning is warm lemon water. Lemon aids with digestion by increasing the secretion of bile from the liver, while also acting as a strengthening agent for the liver's enzymes. Lemon is also hight in vitamin C, which is water-soluble and travels easily through your body, destroying free radicals and toxins (anti-aging). It acts as a blood purifier and as a cleansing agent to flush out bacteria and toxins in the body*. 

Upon waking up, half a lemon squeezed in warm water boosts your lymphatic system, detoxification and digestion first thing in the morning. It is such an easy routine to continue as lemons seem accessible even on my more remote excursions. 


1 cup water

1/2 lemon

Boil water and squeeze lemon into it. 


pinch of cayenne | boosts immune system

1 tsp apple cider vinegar | lubricates body
