There used to be a point in time where I’d pack up a woven basket full of 10,000 superfoods, herbs, pink salts, and anything else under this umbrella.  Then I realized that when traveling for the holidays, or any other time, it’s much easier to strip my normal regime down to the barebones and create my very own custom blend. 

When customizing, I take into account how little pure bio-available nutrients I’ll be consuming on my travels, so I try to throw extra supportive and specific elements in my blend such as Moringa.    Here is the one I created for this holiday travel.  It took me 30 seconds and will offer a ton of benefits along my not-so-usual way.


1 part tocos | to keep skin bright and happy

1 part whey | for protein after workouts

1 part chia | extra omega support and lean protein

1 part moringa | for a lot of valuable nutrients under the sun

1 part pine pollen | for hormonal and circulation support

1 part reishi | for immunity and adaptability

1 part ashwagandha | for adaptability, happy energy, and deeper sleep

1 flax seed | to stay regular with fiber and extra omega support

a few dashes of cinnamon

PROCESS | I blend it all together in a jar with a spoon so that I can literally scoop 1-2 tablespoons into a blender with this steeped tea, and a few drops of stevia.  If I’m on the go and pressed for time, I’ll literally just scoop 1-2 tablespoons into water, so that many of my bases are covered!
