Put Some Garlic On It

I try to consume one clove of raw garlic, in some form, everyday. Due to its amazing antioxidants, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral benefits, a spoonful a day truly does keep the doctor away. It’s quite important to chop it and let it sit for a few minutes to really activate the chemical allicin (which is responsible for a lot of its magical medicinal qualities) and then consume it.

I’ve developed quite the taste for it and have gotten crafty at tossing it onto/into just about anything. Here are a few ways to add garlic into your daily life.

SALAD DRESSING | adding it to your favorite daily salad dressings.

SNACK TOPPING | I LOVE cutting open an avocado and topping it with chopped garlic, pink salt and olive oil.

SALADS | you will be blown away at how well garlic can round out the palate of a salad and boost an incredibly delicious spicy flavor.
