Medicinal Goji Tonic

For the last several thousand years, goji berries have been revered as a superfood in Asian cultures for the promotion of longevity. In Chinese herbalism, goji is known for its role as a yin jing tonic to strengthen the blood and revitalize the body. Today, goji berries have grown in prominence for their youth-preserving, health-improving, and mood-elevating properties.

Goji berries are extremely rich in beta-carotene, which gives credence to the long-held belief that goji berries improve eyesight. Their phytochemicals have been shown to protect against free radicals and protect the DNA of our cells. Goji berries have also been used to strengthen the back, tonify the sexual and reproductive functions, and help restore yin energy to the kidney and liver energy channels.

The organic goji powder in Philosophie Berry Bliss Protein + Superfood Blendcoconut butter, + honey, combined with medicinal tea, oat milk, and ashwagandha, makes a beautifully healing tonic that supports the nervous system, strengthens immunity, and boosts energy levels.

2 tablespoons Philosophie Berry Bliss Coconut Butter

2 ounces oat milk

2 tablespoons dried goji berries

1 teaspoon ashwagandha

1 teaspoon Philosophie Berry Bliss Protein + Superfood Blend

pinch of pink sea salt

1 teaspoon Philosophie Berry Bee Honey

PROCESS | Steep your preferred tea, remove the tea bag, and add to a blender with all of the other ingredients. Mix in a high speed blender until smooth and pour into your favorite glass.
