Want to Manifest Love? Follow These 3 Rules
Once you have the basic understanding of the energetics behind the practice of manifesting your partner (all of which you’ll learn in UNBLOCKED Love), there are three key elements that you must follow:
i. Watch out for trauma bonding. We all attract partners from our subconscious mind, shaped and imprinted from childhood experiences. We seek out partners that mirror the way we perceived the relationships between our caretakers, peers, in the media, etc. “Trauma bonding” refers to our impulse to subconsciously attract the other half of the trauma we experienced in childhood in order to fix it and make us whole; however, it just continues to perpetuate the cycle of toxicity over and over. We subconsciously believe that being with this person, who represents our childhood trauma, is the answer to rebuilding our self-worth.
Ever wonder why you keep attracting the same emotionally unavailable partner, who might remind you of how either of your parents showed up in their relationship or in relation with you? And with these partners, do you feel an intense sense of attachment? Hello, trauma bond and attachment styles.
The first step to clearing trauma bonding from your energetic field is to reprogram the trauma puzzle pieces you’re subconsciously projecting. ii. In order for your dream partner to come through, you must create space for them to come through. Sounds rather obvious, yes? But do you know where you might be blocking your next partner from coming through? Take inventory of who is still holding energetic space in your heart, ie. an ex you still reach out to in moments of weakness or lusting after someone who doesn’t reciprocate romantic feelings towards you, sleeping around with others who take advantage, etc (head to UNBLOCKED Love for a full list of energetic blockages). And remember, love and money are connected. If you’re not easily finding blocks in relationships, look at where you are in your career. Are you being taken advantage of? Or feeling small?
Begin to build boundaries in these spaces. Clear out anyone holding space and blocking your partner from coming through, and be patient with yourself. This step can be difficult, but it is also quite magnetic. This is how you communicate your worth and what you believe you deserve, to the Universe.
iii. 6 weeks • Six weeks of no sex. Why, you ask? Sleeping with someone can blur the ability to truly register tests as we become attached after intercourse. Once we have sex with someone, it affects our brain chemistry and we have a harder time picking out red flags and trauma bonding. It is also a major test for your potential partner as someone not ready for commitment or connecting will not wait around for those 6 weeks. Weeds out the tests much quicker. Create boundaries and reinforce your self-worth. Plus, what a reward after 6 weeks.
