Community Manager

Job Description:

To Be Magnetic has an immediate need for a new Community Manager in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience managing social media accounts and fostering a sense of community. You are used to balancing multiple priorities and  have a wide variety of knowledge and skills as well as the ability to think strategically. This position will start on a part-time freelance basis at 20 hours per week, but has the potential to move into a full-time employee based role in the future. 

As the Community Manager, you are reliable, great at coordination, and can execute on tasks and deadlines. You are resourceful and an excellent communicator. You will be collaborating with Lacy and other team members to ensure postings are scheduled, execute the social media postings, as well as moderate, respond, and foster community within our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Since you will be so in touch with our community, you will also track and manage all of our testimonials that come through our social channels and collaborate with other team members on our My Magnetic Story video testimonial series. 


Role:

  • Daily Posting on Instagram (PST)

  • We currently post 4 quotes + 2 photos each week. 

    • Note: Since our content is so targeted and about manifestation, captions and quotes will be pre-written. You would just need to post daily and choose photos to go live from our latest photoshoot for the Monday/Wednesday spots. Graphics will be supplied when needed.

  • Posting instagram stories 3x per week

  • Responding to Instagram DMs, liking comments, responding to comments when necessary

  • Facebook group moderation 

  • Track our customer testimonials that come through our social channels and help with our My Magnetic Story video series 

  • Experience with creation of new creative social and community ideas to further engage our Instagram audience and Facebook group. Ability to come up with the strategy as well as execution. 


Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Photoshop, Planonly, Facebook, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google spreadsheets.

  • Available for team meetings.  

  • Experience with fostering community within Facebook and Instagram and proof of organically growing an account whether personal or for a small business 

  • Deep knowledge and experience with social media posting and management 

  • Ability to self motivate, come up with strategy, and execute with follow through on deadlines 

  • Can work quickly and efficiently and prioritize effectively

Support Specialist

Job Description:

To Be Magnetic has an immediate need for a new Support Specialist based in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for someone who is a go-getter, can handle multiple priorities, and who knows how to prioritize efficiently and effectively. You are used to wearing multiple hats and you can be very flexible in knowing that every day will be different. This position also requires personal and executive assisting for Lacy. 

You are reliable, great at following up on tasks as needed, resourceful, and a great communicator. This position is challenging and can be very demanding, so we are looking for someone who can jump right in and provide great quality support for all of our customers and Lacy. We are looking for someone who is extremely detail oriented and used to managing calendars and schedules. This person is a great problem solver and does not back down when things get challenging. THIS IS STRICTLY AN ADMIN POSITION. NOT A CREATIVE POSITION.


Role:

  • Manage our customer service chat platform, Intercom, and respond to all customer inquiries in a friendly TBM manner

  • Assist Lacy with personal tasks, coordination, scheduling, and calendar management

  • Coordinate with Media Manager to maintain podcast recording schedule and follow ups as needed 

  • Manage personal tasks and daily task structure 

  • Provide customer feedback to Director of Operations and Marketing for better customer experience 

  • Help moderate Facebook groups and Instagram account 

  • Other tasks as assigned by Lacy and the Director of Operations  


Skills:

  • Proficient with technology and can easily learn new platforms

    • You will be using gmail, google calendars, Intercom, SquareSpace, Trello, Stripe, and MemberSpace daily

  • Proficient with Social Media, including: Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube

  • Excellent time management and can prioritize efficiently and effectively

  • A lot of experience with calendar management and scheduling 

  • Self starter and motivator who can knock out tasks working remotely

  • Excellent communicator and can quickly respond to Lacy and team when needs arise

  • Flexibility to pivot and change direction quickly when needed

  • Can work quickly while also maintaining attention to detail and provide a high quality experience 

  • Great customer service skills and familiar with helping customers troubleshoot technical issues 

  • Very resourceful and a great problem solver

Photographer & Videographer

Job Description:

To Be Magnetic has an immediate need for a new part-time Photographer & Videographer in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for someone who has experience with photography, videography, audio recording, and editing. You are also used to balancing multiple priorities as well as regularly communicating and following up with stakeholders. You have a wide variety of knowledge and skills as well as the ability to take brand direction. 

As the Photographer and Videographer, you are reliable, great at coordination and  following up on tasks as needed, resourceful, and an excellent communicator. This position will require variety with content photo shoots, video shoots for our Supported class as well as other audio recording needs. We are looking for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable in all three areas as well as editing experience. This person has a keen eye and aesthetic that matches our brand and is able to take brand direction. 


Role:

  • This is a part-time position

  • Conducts all photo and video content shoots 

  • In charge of all audio production and needs 

  • Edits all photo, video, and audio content  

  • Collaborates with our Production Manager on all shoots and tasks as assigned 


Skills:

  • 2-5 years of relevant photography, videography, audio, and editing experience (at least has knowledge and experience in each area)

  • Experience with editing 

  • Excellent time management and can prioritize efficiently and effectively

  • Reliable and excellent at timelines and following up on tasks 

  • Knows how to effectively manage time and is on time to all shoots

  • Excellent communicator and can respond quickly to requests 

  • Flexibility to pivot and change direction quickly when needed

  • Ideally has a creative eye and some experience with art direction

Podcast & Media Production Manager

Job Description:

To Be Magnetic has an immediate need for a new Production Manager in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for someone who has a lot of production experience and is used to balancing multiple priorities. You have a wide variety of knowledge and skills as well as the ability to think strategically. 

As the Production Manager, you are reliable, great at coordination and  following up on tasks as needed, resourceful, and an excellent communicator. This position will require a lot of variety and project management across different media channels with a main focus on The Expanded Podcast. You are well connected and will be in charge of podcast sponsorships and guest reach outs. We are looking for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable with coordinating people as well as content shoots. This person is a great problem solver and has the ability to think strategically to help our brand grow our media channels. 


Role:

  • Grow the Podcast and take our production, content and listenership to the next level

  • Manage Podcast guests and partnerships

  • Collaborate and manage our Podcast Production team and in charge of all guest outreach, coordination, and sponsorships

  • Photo and video shoot planning and coordination. This includes, managing and planning with freelancers, creating shot lists and ensuring asset delivery for: workshop videos, brand videos, photos, and more.

  • Oversee our Supported class video production and shoots 


Skills:

  • Ability to coordinate with podcast guests as well as coordination for content shoots

  • Direct podcast experience – as much as we love learning as we go, we are looking for someone with direct experience here

  • Is able to use and access Zoom for remote calls and recording 

  • At least 2-5 years of experience working for a relevant media brand

  • Great team player and hard worker
