Universe, I’m Not Fucking Around Anymore
I ended a relationship in January 2018 and knew I was done repeating the same old patterning. Before I started Lacy's work what I now know were shiny relationship tests had already started coming up that I was close to falling in to. One guy who I went on a date with/was seeing started to be flakey and unresponsive and I literally said out loud on a beach in Greece "universe, I'm not fucking around anymore." Come September I was attending the Emmys for work (I know, sounds ridiculous) and the whole weekend I was feeling super magnetic with great attention and vibes. I literally said to my coworker - "if we don't meet any guys this weekend, I at least need to meet an agent who is going to turn my book in to a movie" (for context I work in marketing in the beauty industry and writing a novel is my biggest, far reaching manifestation I'm now working on).
Lo and behold I meet a guy (my now boyfriend of coming up to a year) who is literally a screenwriting agent whose agency reps my favorite author (and biggest expander). He is everything on my list and my biggest gift so far. My relationship is one of my most sacred priorities to me, but my career which I love is also very important. Since I've met him I've also manifested an amazing new job in the beauty industry in LA (I was previously in SF working in marketing in wine) and the one bedroom apartment of my dreams in West Hollywood.
Both of these things still give me butterflies when I think of how far I've come in achieving what I've always known I was capable of. I'm living the life of my daydreams but one I previously thought I wasn't good enough for. Thank you Lacy and the entire TBM team, I do this work weekly and love to gush to all of my friends and acquaintances just how powerful this work really is.
