Getting Paid 20K More for my Dream Job
So I manifested insane things. Firstly, my dream partner and second, my dream job!!!!! Work is always something I’ve had such a weird relationship with. I studied fashion so was naturally looking for jobs in that field and everything coming up came with such terrible pay! I found a dream situation with working in fashion ....and then found out they wanted me to freelance for $12 an hour! I said NO. I told myself “if this job doesn’t work out, I need to switch paths. Universe, show me something in the health and wellness field.”
About a week later I started the interview process for a dream job for a health and wellness company. The process was seamless and felt so comfortable. I asked for a pretty decent salary, what I know I’m definitely worth, and was prepared to settle for even a little bit below that because I knew I was asking a lot. When they offered me the position, they offered me $20,000 more than what I had asked for.
I don’t even think I’ve truly fully understood how insane that is until now. I accepted the job and I start January 7 in the Big Apple!!! NYC scares the crap out of me but I’m prepared for this massive shift in my life!
