A Perfect Opportunity That Compliments My Own Business
Working with Lacy has been a true journey inward. The most profound thing I learned when I met her is that in order to receive from God/Universe, I need to be incredibly disciplined in every aspect of my life in order to openly align myself with the things that I am trying to call in. I had to teach myself how to say NO and learn how to listen to myself on an instinctual/visceral level as opposed to my overly active logical/practical conscience.
It's no WONDER I wasn't seeing anything show up for so long. I told Lacy I was looking for a temporary position somewhere that gave me the flexibility to start my own business. She urged me to write out a list of the things I absolutely needed to get by - nothing more, nothing less. I had two tests come through, and then sure enough, the perfect opportunity came along with flexible hours and good pay that even compliments my own business.
