I Asked For More Money and Detail on My Workload
Lacy - some updates for you. After our session where we talked through my job search, I passed the test with the recruiter we’d discussed. When I talked to him, he v quickly demurred as soon as I gave him my rationale for the less than ideal option. I also asked the company that gave me the verbal offer for more money and detail on what my workload would be. They’ve come in with the net monthly salary that was on my manifestation list, upped the bonus and are offering unlimited vacay (which helps me plotting out my other life/side hustles).
I’ll also get to work with three people who’ve been strong advocates for me in the past and since I’ve accepted, two people at the firm have asked to work with me! Found some old manifestation lists as I was cleaning out one of my drawers this weekend and it referenced wanting to work with someone who I'll actually be reporting into at the new gig. Serendipity indeed!
