Staying In Alignment While Manifesting A New Cottage

Name: Ashley Rorro

Where do you reside?: Cape Cod, MA

What is your cultural upbringing and background?: My father's side is Catholic, and my Mother's side is spiritual. I grew up with my mom. Her being a single parent and little to no support from my dad emotionally or financially. My mom always worked, but we never had any money.

Are you currently a Pathway Member?: Yes

What was on your manifestation list?:

- Open a Wellness Studio

- 2 bedroom cottage

- Macbook under $1000

- Respect & compassion for my body

- Starting a podcast

- Having an article written about me in a local publication about my story, my shop, and my service work

- Create online courses

- Empowered woman who practices TBM

- Guest on an episode of Expanded

What workshops did you use and what blocks did you discover during the DIs & workshops?: - Unblocked Inner Child, Unblocked Shadow, boundaries, the rut, rock bottom, and Unblocked Money

- My blocks are; living in a scarcity mindset, feeling like I'm "too much," that I have to work hard to make money, that I have to starve myself to be skinny and "liked," that I am unworthy of having my voice be heard, that my opinion doesn't matter

What expanders did you find?:

- Local women who owned businesses and worked for themselves

- women who felt empowered and liberated around money

- women who were creating course content for the greater good

- women who respected and LOVED their bodies

- women who liked TO HAVE FUN and let things come easily to them

- women setting clear boundaries

What tests did you face? Which did you pass? Not pass?: I faced every single test you could possibly imagine, haha! financial, suitors, and emotional tests.

I am still working to pass some financial tests around feeling worthy of holding onto the money I make while trying to make more, also charging the amount of money I deserve for my services. I just recently passed suitor + boundary wrapped into one...my landlord just recently came to me in a really aggressive way. She told me that I could not host an outdoor yoga class at the shop anymore instead of backing down, letting her walk all over me, and playing small. I stood my ground in a professional way and communicated to her that there were solutions to this problem and that we needed to find one because I wanted to continue hosting outdoor yoga classes.

In the end, the conversation turned really nice, and I even made her laugh (something she never does), and we came to an agreement that if I took out an insurance policy on her property for yoga, I could continue hosting. That same week a man came into my shop who was very interested in me, and right off the bat, I knew I wasn't interested in him. Old Ashley would have been "nice" and given him my number when he asked, but I knew I had to send a clear and direct message with the work I've been doing, so I told him I was not interested in dating. This is something I would have never done before, but it felt SO GOOD to set that boundary and be clear in my intentions.

Did you experience a magic dark period?: I have experienced many! If so, tell us about it. I am actually in one right now, and I can FEEL how crazy the energy is around me at the moment. I have just passed many tests, and now everything is slowing down and becoming more easy and fluid. I can feel in my bones that one of my manifestations is about to come through!

How did your manifestation come through? Part of my authentic code is freedom + ease. So I have found that when I am having fun and give myself the time and freedom to explore, my manifestations always come through—flowing instead of forcing. The more fun I experience, the more in alignment I become. The more I focus on fun ways to move my body and exercise that I actually enjoy and food that I actually find nourishing to eat, the more compassion and love I have for myself... which is how I feel right now. I have spent my whole life hating my body and tearing it apart because of programming from my mom and my peers, and now I am in a place where I LOVE my perfectly imperfect body :)

How long did it take for your manifestation to come through after crafting your initial list?: The wellness shop took two years, the computer took 2 WEEKS! The podcast took four months. The cottage took 6-8 months.

How frequently were you using the workshops and DI's when you noticed the biggest shift surrounding your manifestation?: I use them 5-6 days a week, and that's what is most beneficial for me. I would do a workshop and then supplement when I was in-between workshops with the DI's.

How do you incorporate this work into your life on a daily basis? Any tips, tricks or recommendations for getting the most out of it, or personalizing it?: I have found that doing the DI's or workshop you are working through first thing in the morning is most beneficial to me. I wake up, make my coffee, and immediately get back into bed (my cocoon of safety), put in my earbuds + eye mask, and get started right away! I am still in that theta state but certainly not asleep. This also sets me up to have a balanced and productive day. I feel the most empowered starting my day this way. Then I set out for a morning walk around my neighborhood and listen to one of the expanded podcasts.

Is there anything else you think we should know? If you made this process your own in any way, this is the perfect spot to share that.: I just wanted to thank you guys for all the space you hold for this community.

I am submitting my story again because I feel as though I could be a HUGE light + expander for young adults who have been incarcerated and hold a lot of shame around that. I spent six months in jail and, upon leaving, held a lot of shame and guilt, but through this work, I was able to manifest all of my visions and have them come to life! I want to help people feel empowered to make choices that honor them and release the stigmatizing guilt and shame imprinted on us for having served time. I also want people to know that working on your own self-worth is life after jail. All your dreams can come true!

Thank you :)
