And Then I Got High • California Chic Spliff
Smoking isn't simply confined to tobacco and marijuana. The practice of smoking dates back hundreds and thousands of years as a means of healing, ritual and connecting with divine spirits. A wide plethora of herbs were harvested, dried, ground and smoked, each herb chosen for a particular purpose. Marijuana is only one of these herbs, and although its popularity grew recreationally, this herb has the potential to be a potent healer.
Yet there are many, many, other readily available and easily accessible herbs to be ground, rolled and smoked that offer just as many healing properties without the heady and psychedelic high (and - I bet you already have a handful of them in your kitchen): no fillers, no high and no harmful addictive properties.
Whether adding to or rolling in place of marijuana, herbal smokes have the power to heal a variety of ailments, elevate our consciousness, calm anxiety and enhance our creative mind.
