What was on your manifestation list?: Beautiful, light-filled, spacious property with income-generating potential that feels like it's in nature but isn't too far away from everything.
What workshops did you use and what blocks did you discover during the DIs & workshops?: Unblocked Inner child and Unblocked Boundaries. I realized I didn't think I deserved to buy a place, let alone my dream place. I thought so little of myself. I wouldn't let myself dream. I wasn't confident that I could make a stretch work. I looked past everything that made me successful and only saw what was right in front of me, which felt very dim.
What expanders did you find?: The Bigger Pockets community.
What tests did you face? Which did you pass? Not pass?: Here's a list of some tests I faced:
Horrible real estate brokers
Horrible seller
Shitty looking and feeling properties that were much more in my comfort zone but wouldn't have made me happy
The temptation to stay renting and buy out of state to generate income
Daring to call the head of HOA to find out that there was hidden value in the property
Being deterred by things that haven't been in my dream vision but were really no big deal
My dog getting cancer
My dad is getting very sick
Being declined for a mortgage, and so much more.
Did you experience a magic dark period? If so, tell us about it.: I don't think so, not in the true sense of the phrase. I was in a very dark period for sure, though. Deep in depression, I was living at my mom's house while I rented out my apartment because my business has been dead since last March. I was sure that life wasn't going to get better.
How did your manifestation come through?: I searched along the coast (my dream area), increased my price filter just to see what was out there, and found this place. For a long time, I was convinced I couldn't afford it.
Really the biggest driver was a part of Ashley's manifestation group. After I joined it and we were really doing the work, I felt so supported. There's no way I'd be here without those girls and the work.
